Academic awards with justice, equality and transparency
The judging process of AAC involves two stages: nominations and awards. It is for the purpose of promoting not only award winners, but also nominees, while effectively garner public attention to AAC.
1. Selection of Nominee Candidates
Each year based on the data from the “AAC Monthly Observations Reports”, the Organizing Committee recommends influential Chinese contemporary artists and publications to the Consultants Committee, which in turn will make additions and objections to these recommendations and draw up a list of nominee candidates.
2. Nomination
The President and judges of the Judging Committee will review the list and select five nominees
for each award category.
3. Final Selection for Award Recipients
The winner for each award will be selected by the AAC Judging Committee after a final round of consideration.
