Established in 2006 by Artron.net, Award of Art China (AAC) are China’s most influential annual contemporary art awards. Through the yearly discovery and examination of Chinese contemporary artists and their work, the awards strive to present the best of contemporary art within the Chinese cultural context, and to promote this unique genre to the global audience.
The AAC Council is the policy-making body of the AAC, with the highest power in its institution system. Council members are made up by some of world’s most celebrated art critics, curators, as well as major AAC sponsors and organizers.
The Consultants Committeeconsists ofprofessionalart critics and curators from over the world, who will offer their insights advice on the judging process of AAC. Each year, the president and members of the jury panel will be elected from the Consultants Committee by AAC organizers and the Council.
